On February 10, 2015, personnel from Mannatech, Incorporated spent a day at Texas Woman’s University teaching graduate students about our science and technology. This was an important step in sharing our life-changing products with the millennial generation.

The Graduate Club of the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Texas Woman’s University, in Denton, Texas, invited representatives from Mannatech, Incorporated and the M5M Foundation to share Mannatech’s science and mission.

The two presentations:

  • M5M Foundation: Nourish, Thrive, Hope, by Sarah Bowen, Executive Director of the M5M Foundation
  • The Science and the Dietary Supplements in Mannatech, Incorporated, by Dr. Rolando Maddela, MPH, CCRP, Director of Clinical Scientific Affairs at Mannatech.

Lisa O’Grady, Mannatech’s Product Safety Specialist II, also attended the event.

Attendees consisted of the faculty and graduate (Master and PhD) students at Texas Woman’s University. The comments and the feedback were very positive. Many students expressed their desire to visit the corporate office and even inquired about Internships with Mannatech.

The Graduate Club of the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences hosts monthly meetings throughout the school year, inviting speakers to present on the latest in nutrition. They were very interested to learn about how Mannatech’s nutritional supplements are formulated and produced as well as the science behind our products and our mission.
