Mannatech Makes Merry Wishes Come True!
Every Christmas, Mannatech employees have something very near and dear to their hearts – an annual holiday gift donation program in Coppell, Texas called “Make a Child Smile.” Similar to Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, Make a Child Smile ensures that no child is forgotten during the holiday. Make A Child Smile is a long-running program that involves many aspects of the city to make the holidays more enjoyable for kids. Created 20 years ago, the program provides presents and joy to the less fortunate children of Coppell during the holidays. Employee Lisa O’Grady, Research & Development – Health Sciences Product Safety Specialist II, organized the program this year for Mannatech, collecting 60 “angel” boys and girls this year. Because our generous Mannatech employees never choose just one child, many more children have a joyful Christmas. Employees select two or more children and purchase a number of gifts for each. Gifts were wrapped and delivered, with the end result being a lot of smiles on the faces of the children of Coppell thanks to the heartfelt generosity of Mannatech employees! To the staff at Mannatech, O’Grady said, “Thank you all so very much for helping the City of Coppell this year again. Mannatech has been the biggest contributor to this gift drive for the past several seasons and I am so proud that we participated again this year. Thank you very much for allowing me the honor of assisting to make this happen but most of all for your incredible generosity to these families. It is what this company is all about.” Mannatech has been involved in the Make A Child Smile program for the past 10 years and will continue to make wishes come true for boys and girls in Coppell. Employees’ generosity will ensure a happy holiday for these children and their families in Coppell. Merry Christmas!
