Ray Robbins Shared Tips from his Book at MannaQuest
During MannaQuest 2014, Ray Robbins, Co-Founder and Double Platinum Presidential Director, discussed his book “Get a Grip” and how to surround yourself with Aces. “It’s all about growing residual income potential,” he said.
He shared The Three Foot Rule. If someone is three feet from you, engage them in conversation. Keep the conversation on them.
Ray said, “Let them ask you what they should do, never tell them until they ask. And, don’t start talking about the business immediately. Find out what’s important to them. What brings them satisfaction or dissatisfaction? What brings them delight or concern? Be genuine and really care about them. Find something interesting in everyone.”
And, “People don’t care how much you know until they know that you care. Develop that skill of caring. Delight in other’s experiences. God gave us one mouth and two ears for a reason. Learn to listen. The best talkers are often the best listeners. Happy, fulfilled people do not dominate the conversation. Seek other’s perspective and respect them.”
Ray also shared the 4 Aces concept from his book.
“An Ace is outgoing and involved in life; they like to volunteer. They are busy, ambitious, hard-working, never greedy. they are dreamers and they appreciate legacy. Look for four partners who are just as serious as you are and develop them … invest in them. Capture their imagination and their curiosity.”
